As an important part of the landscape, outdoor landscape lighting not only shows the concept of landscape

The method is also the main part of the space structure of people's outdoor activities at night. Scientific, standardized, and user-friendly outdoor landscape lighting has very important practical significance for enhancing the taste and external image of the landscape, and improving the quality of life of the owners. This management method will explain the management methods of outdoor landscape lighting from three aspects: the application scope of landscape lighting design, selection requirements and installation process.

1.Application range of In ground lights

Landscape structures, sketches, plants, hard pavement lighting. It is mainly arranged on hard pavement lighting facades, lawn area lighting trees, etc. It is not suitable to arrange lighting trees and facades in shrub areas, so that the light will form excessive shadows and dark areas (Figure 1-1); in ground lights are not suitable Layout in hard or lawn low water level or drainage area, so that the accumulated water will cover the lamp body after the rain; when the buried lamp is arranged in the lawn area (not in the area where people are frequently active), the glass surface is about 5cm higher than the lawn surface , So that the water does not immerse the glass lamp surface after rain.

2.Selection requirements--Light color


Problem: The noisy and false color light is not suitable for the use of the night scene environment of human settlements. Requirements: A livable lighting environment should adopt the natural color temperature range (2000-6500K color

Temperature selection), adjust the light color temperature accordingly according to the color of the plant, such as evergreen plants should be used 4200K. For red-leaf plants, the color temperature should be 3000K.

Requirement: Choose a buried lamp with a chamfered lamp cover, and seal the edges of the lamp with waterproof glue or glass glue after installation (as shown in Figure 1-8).

All illuminating in ground lights (higher power, lighting facades, plants) need anti-glare measures. Such as the installation of light-control grids, adjustable illumination angle of the lamps, and the use of asymmetric reflectors in the lamps (as shown in Figure 1-11).

3.Installation process

Problem: The in ground lamp is directly buried in the lawn without placing the embedded parts, and its wiring part is directly buried in ground. At the same time, there is no gravel seepage layer and sand water absorption layer under the in ground lamp. If the water accumulates after the rain, it will cause electrical conductivity or Short-circuit phenomenon (Figure 1-13).

The luminaire is directly buried on the hard pavement without the embedded parts, while the luminaire adopts aluminum lamp body, which exceeds the diameter of the paving opening after thermal expansion and contraction, and expands and arches out of the ground, causing uneven ground (as shown in the figure)

1-14). Requirements: Standard installation, using embedded parts. The hard pavement opening is slightly larger than the diameter of the lamp body but smaller than the outer diameter of the steel ring (as shown in Figure 1-15).

Moisture ingress


Problem: Due to the thermal expansion and contraction of the air in the lamp cavity, the outdoor atmospheric pressure presses the humid air into the lamp cavity, which will cause the lamp to burst or short circuit trip. Correct installation method: 1) During the sample delivery process, the waterproof level of the lamp must be checked to ensure that the waterproof level is above IP67 (Method: Put the buried lamp in the water basin, the glass surface is about 5CM from the water surface, and the power is on for a trial run for 48 hours. During the period, the switch is turned on and off every two hours. About six times, check the waterproof condition when heated and cooled). 2) The wire connection should be sealed well: Generally, the connection port of the buried lamp has a special sealing rubber ring and a stainless steel fastener. First, pass the cable through the rubber ring, and then tighten the stainless steel fastener until the wire cannot be pulled out of the sealing rubber ring. When connecting wires and leads, use a waterproof junction box. After the wiring is completed, glue and seal the edge of the junction box or fill the inside with wax.

3) The underground water seepage treatment should be done during the construction. For the buried lights arranged in the lawn area, the trapezoidal column-shaped embedded parts with small upper mouth and large lower mouth should be adopted, and the barrel-shaped embedded parts should be adopted for hard areas. Make a permeable layer of gravel and sand under each buried lamp.

4) After the buried lamp is installed, open the cover and cover it after half an hour after the lamp is turned on to keep the inner cavity of the lamp in a certain vacuum state. Use the outdoor atmospheric pressure to press the lamp cover sealing ring.
